In this role you will:
- Join the Operations team; work directly with motivated Operations Associates and take ownership of Start-to-finish processing of DRS and Physical Certificate deposits and withdrawals for Canadian and US stock.
- Perform ad-hoc in-office tasks requested by the Securities Operations team.
- Get familiar with Canadian and US depositories CDS/DTCC and equity trade settlement process.
- Contribute to identifying and mitigating any inherent operational risks as they relate to the overall team.
- Assist the broader team with any ad-hoc tasks, as required.
We're looking for people who:
- Are organized with a strong attention to detail and be comfortable working on multiple priorities with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Have awesome people skills and a positive attitude. You will be working in a highly collaborative environment.
- Are naturally curious: if something seems off, you want to figure out what’s going on.
- Are passionate about technology, specifically fintech.
- Nice to have: Relevant work experience and/or Post Graduate education in Finance.
