Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a key member of the Pier 4 sales team, supporting two Vice Presidents of Sales and their respective territories in achieving ambitious growth objective. 
  • Conduct outbound prospecting activities, including cold calling, lead generation, appointment setting, and ongoing sales follow-up. 
  • Follow up with Financial Advisors after VP meetings, addressing inquiries and assisting with the progression of sales opportunities. 
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date Advisor records and activity tracking within the CRM platform. 
  • Manage inbound Advisor inquiries related to trade documentation, coordinating with internal operations teams to ensure timely resolution. 
  • Support the execution of marketing initiatives and sales campaigns designed to promote Pier 4's investment offerings. 
  • Collaborate with Sales Vice Presidents to develop and implement strategic sales plans. 
  • Provide proactive follow-up following roadshows, conferences, events, and other business development initiatives. 
  • Initiate and maintain outreach efforts through phone and digital channels to build new relationships within the financial advisor network. 
  • Deliver valuable market, product, and industry insights to Advisors, helping them navigate a dynamic investment landscape. 
  • Provide ongoing support regarding fund performance, market developments, and investment trends. 
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with Advisors through consistent, professional, and value-driven interactions. 
  • Stay informed on Pier 4's investment products, industry developments, competitor offerings, and market trends. 
  • Represent and embody Pier 4's core values of Professionalism, Integrity, Excellence, and Respect. 
  • Travel periodically across Canada to support business development and relationship management activities. 

Crucial Skills and Knowledge 

  • Fluent in both English and French (written and verbal). 
  • Strong sales, prospecting, and relationship management skills. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with the confidence to engage investment professionals and stakeholders. 
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the financial services industry and investment landscape. 
  • Strong understanding of real estate and alternative investments, with a passion for the sector. 
  • Proven ability to build credibility and trust with Financial Advisors and industry partners. 
  • Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems to manage sales pipelines and client interactions. 
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently with a strong sense of urgency. 
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. 
  • Proactive, results-oriented mindset with a commitment to achieving sales targets and supporting company growth. 

Education & Experience Required 

  • Bachelor's degree, diploma, certificate, or equivalent in Business, Finance, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. 
  • Minimum 5 years of experience within the financial services industry in a sales, business development, or advisor-support capacity. 
  • Demonstrated experience working with Financial Advisors, investment products, or wealth management-related services. 
  • Proven track record of supporting sales growth, business development initiatives, and relationship management activities. 
  • Experience utilizing CRM systems for client management, reporting, and sales activity tracking. 
  • Ability and willingness  to travel periodically across Canada as required. 

Additional Details 

  • Competitive Salary Range: $70,000-120,000
  • Work Arrangement: Fully on-site, 5 days a week at 70 York Street, Toronto.
