Role Description

Ensemble is looking for an Associate Creative Director to help shape, elevate, and evolve our creative expression across an increasingly digital-first landscape.

This is a hands-on creative leadership role for an Art Director or design-led creative who combines strong conceptual thinking with exceptional visual craft. You’ll own and champion the creative vision of the Ensemble brand, working closely with Marketing leadership while guiding our creative team to think bigger, push ideas further, and bring our brand to life in fresh and compelling ways.

A key focus of this role will be strengthening Ensemble’s presence within the travel industry and helping communicate what makes our community distinctive to prospective members, existing members, partners, and the broader industry. You’ll work across business development campaigns, social, digital, paid media, video, events, web, and other brand experiences—taking larger creative ideas and adapting them thoughtfully across channels.

We’re looking for someone who is excited about where creative is going. You understand that great ideas no longer live within a single format. You think social- and digital-first, are comfortable working at pace, embrace experimentation, and are curious about how AI and emerging technologies are changing the creative process.

What You’ll Do
  • Own and champion Ensemble’s creative and visual direction while ensuring consistency with established brand standards.
  • Lead, mentor, and elevate the creative team, providing thoughtful direction and feedback that strengthens both the work and the thinking behind it.
  • Develop high-level creative concepts and translate them into compelling executions across digital, social, paid media, video, web, events, print, and other channels.
  • Partner closely with Marketing leadership to evolve the Ensemble brand while protecting its core identity and strategic positioning.
  • Bring a digital- and social-first perspective to the team, identifying opportunities to make our content more relevant, engaging, platform-specific, and culturally current.
  • Help shape creative supporting business development and member acquisition, strengthening how Ensemble shows up to prospective members and the broader travel industry.
  • Provide creative direction for paid and video content, including concepts, scripts, visual direction, and final executions.
  • Influence the creative expression of Ensemble events and experiential touchpoints.
  • Support major brand initiatives, including onboarding experiences and materials for members, prospects, partners, and employees.
  • Work collaboratively with copy, design, video, social, and marketing partners to develop integrated creative ideas.
  • Stay current on emerging creative trends, platforms, technologies, and AI tools, bringing new ideas and approaches into the team.
  • Balance creative excellence with the realities of a fast-moving content environment, producing and overseeing multiple assets, formats, and variations without sacrificing brand quality.
What You Bring
  • Strong experience in Art Direction, design, or a similar design-led creative discipline, with demonstrated experience providing creative direction to others.
  • A portfolio demonstrating exceptional visual craft, conceptual thinking, and the ability to flex across different brands, audiences, formats, and channels.
  • Strong digital and social experience, with an understanding of how creative needs to adapt across platforms.
  • Experience developing larger creative concepts and translating them into multiple executions rather than approaching each asset in isolation.
  • Strong understanding of brand systems and the ability to evolve a brand thoughtfully while maintaining consistency.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume creative environment; agency experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
  • Comfort with video and social content; familiarity with tools such as CapCut or the ability to quickly learn new creative tools.
  • Curiosity and enthusiasm for AI and emerging technologies, with an interest in how they can support concepting, content development, and creative workflows.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to articulate and defend a creative point of view based on strategic rationale.
  • A highly collaborative, low-ego approach to creative leadership and feedback.
  • B2B experience is an asset but not required.
What Success Looks Like

You’ll bring a new level of conceptual and digital-first thinking to the Ensemble creative team. You’ll help talented designers stretch beyond individual executions to think about the bigger creative idea, while ensuring every expression of the brand feels unmistakably Ensemble.

You’ll be equally comfortable protecting what makes the brand strong and identifying where it can evolve. Most importantly, you’ll help us create work that gets noticed, connects with our audiences, and makes people want to be part of the Ensemble community.
