The Global Asset Modeling Shared Service Center Asia Division manages all asset modeling initiatives across the company, primarily based in Boston, Toronto, and Manila. Our diverse team of 12 offers dynamic opportunities for growth and collaboration.

This role provides the chance to interact with management and work alongside colleagues across eight Asia segments, as well as with Regional Actuarial Services, Group Financial Actuarial, Asset Liability Management, Risk, and other departments.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Asia IGM Reporting Leadership (40%): Lead quarterly Asia IGM reporting using AXIS, Excel, and Power BI tools, and effectively communicate results and insights to the manager.

  • Asset-Side Business Support (30%): Provide asset-side support for business operations across Asia, including Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, China, Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines, and Malaysia.

  • Annual Asset Analysis (20%): Drive the implementation and analysis of Annual Asset Basis Changes, Dividend Recommendation, Annual Asset True Up, and in-depth attribution analysis.

  • ALM Initiatives and Analysis (5%): Champion ALM initiatives and conduct in-depth analyses to support strategic business decisions.

  • Process Enhancement and Standardization (5%): Enhance and standardize processes across segments, facilitating efficient collaboration between ALM, GFA, RAS, Risk, and Business Units.

  • Supervision and Development: Supervise actuarial students by assigning tasks and providing direction and guidance for their growth and task completion.

Required Qualifications:

  • Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) or near FSA.

  • Experience with AXIS modeling, including asset and/or liability modules, is a plus.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong communication abilities.

  • Proactive risk and control mindset, ensuring adherence to best practices and organizational standards.

  • Ability to convey complex actuarial concepts effectively to managers and stakeholders.

  • Strong ability to solve complex technical problems within tight deadlines.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects.

Salary range is expected to be between

$90,225.00 USD - $162,405.00 USD

The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training. Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance.
