Job Responsibilities:
General Job Duties:

- Identify and support training and development opportunities to maintain a skilled and motivated team.
- Promote and ensure adherence to company policies and business objectives.
- Help meet and uphold all customer quality standards and internal Decostar quality expectations.
Specific Job Duties:
- Assist in enforcing Decostar's health and safety policies and procedures to provide a safe and healthy workplace.
- Model and support the MAGNA Charter principles by identifying and addressing unsafe behaviors or conditions.
- Promptly address employee health and safety concerns and participate in incident investigations and reporting.
- Conduct or assist with required safety inspections and ensure team members are adequately trained in safety procedures.
- Support the Quality Manager in serving as the Customer Management Representative.
- Collaborate in managing the Quality Engineering team and assist with quality systems development across departments.
- Help lead or participate in cross-functional team meetings related to quality initiatives, issue resolution, and project updates.
- Assist in preparing and delivering presentations to management and customers as required.
- Follow the escalation policy and support production line stoppages when necessary to protect customer interests.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Quality Manager.
- Travel as needed-up to 30%.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing) or equivalent work experience in molding, painting, or assembly in an automotive or manufacturing setting.
- Certified Auditor preferred (VDA, IATF, etc.).
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in manufacturing, quality, or engineering environments.
- Solid understanding of Quality Systems and standards (ISO, IATF, VDA, OEM).
- Strong leadership and teamwork skills with the ability to support, coach, and communicate effectively at all levels.
- Experience with problem-solving methodologies such as 5 Whys, 8D, Six Sigma, or Shainin.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as assembly and machining.
- Proficient in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
