As a Software Developer Student, you will play a vital role in implementing AI projects on our production floor to enhance efficiency and quality. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will develop and execute innovative AI solutions, using your creative thinking to tackle complex challenges. Reporting on project progress and continuously improving AI implementations will be essential aspects of your role. Your expertise in AI technologies, programming, and machine learning algorithms will contribute to our company's digital transformation.
**Please note this is a 12month term (July 2025-July 2026)
**You must be enrolled in a Co-Op Program with your College or University to be eligible

- Design and develop scalable software applications with integrated AI features using modern frameworks (e.g., Python, PyQt, Tkinter, or cross-platform tools).
- Integrate and deploy AI/ML models into applications and production environments to enable automation, computer vision, and analytics.
- Develop and maintain clean, efficient, and secure codebases across both front-end (UI) and back-end systems.
- Build and manage APIs and databases (SQL/NoSQL) to support seamless communication between applications and AI models.
- Work closely with AI team to embed existing AI models, ensuring smooth integration into user-facing and backend components.
- Create tools for deploying applications on Windows or embedded platforms using languages like Python, and C++.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, document processes, and deliver maintainable, user-friendly software solutions.
- Continuously monitor and improve performance, stay current with technology trends, and contribute to the evolution of AI-powered software tools.
EDUCATION & PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
- Enrolled in Bachelors or Masters in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning or Equivalent Field
- Hands-on experience with: Python, REST API, PyQt, Tkinter, C++,React, Node.js, Django/Flask
- Familiarity with basic AI/data science libraries such as OpenCV, PyTorch, NumPy, Pandas, or Scikit-learn
