The Opportunity
We are looking for an Art Director with a strong design and visual storytelling background to lead concept development and creative execution across social-first campaigns. This role calls for someone who can bring big ideas to life while guiding designers and collaborating with writers, strategists, and clients to deliver standout work.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Creative Development: Lead and contribute to brainstorming sessions, developing innovative concepts and social-first ideas that meet client objectives.
- Art Direction & Design Leadership: Apply your art direction and design expertise to craft compelling visual narratives, guide the design process, and ensure the highest level of creative output.
- Collaboration: Partner with writers, strategists, and producers to bring campaigns to life across multiple channels.
- Client Engagement: Present ideas, moodboards, and concepts to clients; translate feedback into effective creative solutions.
- On-Set Involvement: Support productions and on-set shoots, ensuring creative vision is carried through from concept to final delivery.
- Execution: Oversee the creation of social assets, from visuals to pitch decks, ensuring all deliverables meet deadlines and exceed expectations.
- Trends + Inspiration: Stay up-to-date with design, culture, social media, and technology trends to keep work fresh and forward-thinking.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience: 4–6 years in a creative or design role (agency experience preferred), with a portfolio showcasing strong design and campaign work.
- Design Skills: Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma and ability to bring ideas to life across a range of formats.
- Conceptual Thinking: Ability to create and develop compelling concepts for social, digital, and integrated campaigns.
- Presentation Skills: Confident presenting work internally and to clients, with strong verbal and visual communication abilities.
- On-Set Familiarity: Experience working with production teams to ensure creative consistency across shoots and final assets.
- Team Player: Collaborative spirit with the ability to inspire designers and partner seamlessly with copywriters, strategists, and account leads.
- Strategic Mindset: Understanding of branding, marketing, and social media best practices.
- Culture Vulture: Chronically online, tapped into all facets of culture both in and outside the realm of social media marketing.
