Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Defines the structure and relationship among solutions, including the identification of re-usable components, quality level metrics, the organization and layering of software, and the determination of interfaces.
Responsibilities also include developing, implementing and managing solutions in a large and distributed environment, monitor the whole system, understand all interactions between components on a given level of abstraction, as well as to define limitations and requirements for source code.
Defines the interactions between application packages, databases and middleware systems.
Develops enterprise architecture deliverables and documentation.
Supports the procurement of card production and image capturing services.
Guides project through Enterprise Architecture Governance, providing technical oversight and guidance.
Assisting with Discovery Phase work for One-Card and digital credentials. This includes contributing technical expertise to feasibility studies, options analysis, and costing.
Experience with middleware and gateways.
Experience in the use of development tools, Computer Aided Software Engineering (CASE) tools, information retrieval packages, and other software tools such as project management software and business re-engineering software.
Desirable Skills:
Knowledge and understanding of object-oriented analysis and design techniques.
Experience in developing enterprise architecture deliverables and documentation (e.g. models) based on Ontario Government Enterprise Architecture methodologies, processes and practice.
Knowledge and understanding of Information Management principles, concepts, policies and practices.
Experience designing detailed functional and technical requirements for new and existing business solutions.
Experience developing enterprise architecture deliverables (e.g. models and documentation).
Experience leading multi-tier application infrastructure design, documentation and configuration for medium or large corporate implementations.
Experience designing, developing, implementing and maintaining large complex applications, workflow processes and dynamic forms.
MUST HAVES:
Knowledge and experience creating Business, Solution AND Information architecture documentation, as well as creating architecture artefacts such as logical and information data models.
Defines, identifies and describes technical and information architectural requirements with clients, and obtains I&IT management approval.
Researches, develops, implements and maintains technology and information architectural policies and standards, as approved by management.
Ensures integration with related corporate and client cluster policies and standards, and incorporation of best practices in the industry.
