About the Role:
You will be responsible to help build a 3-6 person cross-functional agile team including developers and QA automation. The application will be a new AWS native Web Application that will transform how the Citco captures and process data on behalf of if Clients. AWS experience is desirable and it's definitely a differential, but not a requirement and something we can help you develop. However, you will be expected to have basic knowledge on AWS technologies.
ResponsibilitiesYour Role:
- Help with interviewing, developers and automation testers for team.
- Facilitate the team Agile Ceremonies, acting as scrum master and communication with Product team.
- Direct and coach team members on technical issues and solutions.
- Ensure compliance to Citco standards
- Perform reviews and ensure the quality of the team’s work
- Provide E0 estimates for future development and budgeting.
- Hands on Development: use roughly 50% of your time on software development tasks.
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience leading a team.
- 8+ years of experience with application development
- 2+ years of experience with Node.JS and/or Typescript
- 2+ years of experience with React / Redux
- Solid understanding and demonstrated proficiency with core software development processes - debugging, code tuning, code management and branching, coding styles and refactoring.
- Must be self-motivated and driven, with strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills
Desirable:
- Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, S3, ECS, Cloud formation and IAM
- Experience with Amazon Bedrock and LLM’s
- Experience in the financial services and or Real Estate Industry
Salary Range: CAD $135,000 - $175,000
