You'll serve as a data modeling and visualization expert, assisting all teams by delivering high-impact dashboards built on scalable data models.

  • Ensure Quality and Governance: Write SQL that meets internal standards for structure and quality. You'll maintain these standards through code reviews and peer-reviewing database and data model schema changes.
  • Empower Stakeholders: Encourage internal adoption and self-sufficiency of stakeholders in Tableau through documentation, training, and dashboard organization.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of proven experience in the data space as an analyst or analytics engineer.
  • 3+ years designing and implementing commercial enterprise dimensional models and working with large-scale (1B+ rows) cloud data warehouses.
  • Hands-on experience building, testing, and maintaining data models in dbt
  • Expertise with SQL, including advanced techniques (ex. window functions, common table expressions, UDFs, etc.) for data investigation and analysis.
  • Experience with data visualization in Tableau
  • Solid project management skills, including planning work, managing details, and navigating ambiguity to deliver results with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Enthusiasm for conducting reproducible analysis, including code reviews, version control, and robust documentation.

Additional Skills We Value:

  • Familiarity with Snowflake
  • Experience with Fivetran
  • Background in a B2B SaaS or fintech environment
  • Experience supporting RevOps or GTM analytics, including sales funnel and marketing performance reporting

Spreedly is an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to fostering, cultivating, and preserving a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging. We actively work to drive out even unintentional discrimination in our hiring processes via practices like blindly graded work samples, structured interviews, and diversity awareness training.

Due to the sensitive nature of what Spreedly does - handling payment data - finalist candidates must complete a successful background and reference check.

At this time Spreedly is unable to provide sponsorship for employment, and we are not set up to support remote employees who reside in New York. In order to be considered for employment, applicants must be currently legally authorized to work in the job location country and not require future sponsorship in order to continue working in that country.

We appreciate your interest in our company. Because of the high volume of resume flow, we may only respond to those candidates that we think will be a potential fit.
