We create awareness and influence perception of the company with customers, investors, analysts, regulators, potential employees, and other critical audiences. Our primary responsibilities include product launches, external speaking, Founder and executive comms, narrative development, quarterly earnings, crisis management, analyst relations, and anything that impacts Atlassian's reputation.

As an intern, you will get to contribute to communications strategies and campaigns, write content that will be read by thousands of readers, and have your voice heard by the team. This unique opportunity will give your career a head start with great support from a collaborative and dynamic team.
Atlassian is a treasure trove of amazing stories. You'll gain experience learning how to spot a great story for external amplification, decide which channels are best for that story, develop the story angle so it is compelling to our intended audience, and land the story in the desired channel/outlet.

To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: - $35/hr - $40/hr
Zone B: - $32/hr - $36/hr
Zone C: - $29/hr - $33/hr
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.

- Able to commit to a 12-week full-time (40hrs/week) program during Summer 2026
- Currently enrolled full-time in a Bachelor's degree program and returning to the program after the completion of the internship, graduating by June 2027
- Please note: At this time, we are only open to entry-level candidates with less than a year of professional experience (this does not include internships/co-ops)
