  • Supporting one of CTDI's divisions, the Financial Analyst will support the financial functions of the division.
  • Participates in daily P&L reporting. Ensures completeness of revenue and expenses through GL close.
  • Works closely with FP&E leadership to monitor forecasting and GL accuracy for the assigned division.
  • Conducts trend analysis, develops, and monitors budget and monitors invoicing process for accuracy.
  • Monitors the financial inventory control process.
  • Working with branch management prepares annual budgeting.
  • Monitors client invoicing, AP, and AR for accuracy and completeness. Will prepare customer invoices or work directly with the Billing Team to prepare them.
  • Acquires data from primary or secondary data sources and maintains databases/data systems. Develops queries and calculations for financial reports. Identifies, analyses, and interprets trends and provides ongoing reports.
  • Analyzes and evaluates key elements of the customer's program such as 3rd party expense analysis, order activity trends, inventory control and key performance metrics.
  • Works closely with management to prioritize business and information needs.
  • Locates, defines, and recommends new process improvement opportunities.
Required Skills, Experience & Education
  • B.S. Degree in Accounting, Finance, or other related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 0-2+ years’ experience in a financial role.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Technical expertise regarding data models, and data mining.
  • Knowledge of and experience with financial statements.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Adept at queries, summarizing data and presenting findings.
  • Ability to work well in a matrix-structured environment.
  • Proactive problem-solving ability.
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills.

Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000CAD
