Our Valuations & Expert Services practice is a leading market player. We are well-known in Canada and abroad for our expertise and services to corporate clients, investment funds and their legal and other advisors.

 

We are looking for an Analyst to join our Expert Services team.

 

Day to Day Responsibilities: 

  • Will be tasked to work on a variety of financial and valuation analyses for a variety of purposes, including litigation/expert witness matters, financial reporting, fairness opinions, investment valuations and income tax

  • Prepare valuation analyses, detailed financial models, written reports and presentations

  • Work closely with Managing Directors, Directors and Vice Presidents in a growing practice area

  • Develop a network of corporate, legal and other professionals 

 

Essential Traits: 

  • Some valuation and accounting experience preferred but not essential

  • CPA, CBV or CFA designations or pursuit thereof is preferred

  • Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals

  • Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to work with corporate clients and their legal and other professional advisors

  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills and ability to perform in-depth analysis

  • Ability to balance multiple priorities while remaining detail oriented and ensuring projects meet timelines

  • Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint
