What You’ll Be Doing

As an Analyst, Global Markets Sales, you'll play a key role in supporting our trading team by managing risk and assisting with pricing activities. You'll collaborate closely with traders to acquire and deepen your expertise in specific markets and financial instruments. Your responsibilities will include assisting with the daily funding needs of various departments, ensuring market-making deals are accurately booked, and taking ownership of critical processes to deliver the best outcomes for our clients. This role is an excellent opportunity to develop your financial acumen and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. How You’ll Succeed

  • Market and Financial Analysis – Expand your knowledge of financial analysis by writing reports, developing and maintaining financial models, forecasting cash flow and earnings, researching companies, and analyzing industry trends.
  • Client Engagement – Participate in quarterly conference calls with investors and analysts to gain direct insights from senior management teams across companies and industries.
  • Collaboration – Liaise with colleagues in Sales, Trading, and Investment Banking, as well as with clients, to support business objectives and deepen your market understanding.
  • Process Ownership – Take responsibility for ensuring that market-making deals are booked accurately and that funding processes are executed efficiently.

Who You Are

  • You have an undergraduate university degree in business, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) or related field, MBA is an asset. Please include a writing sample along with your cover letter, resume, and transcripts (if you are a recent graduate).
  • You can demonstrate 1-2 years’ experience in related industries such as working in capital markets, foreign exchange, payments, financial services, Telco, financial technology or the technology industry. A background in accounting and finance is considered an asset.
  • You’re tech-savvy. You have excellent knowledge of PC applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access.
  • You’re a strong communicator and collaborator. You demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills and have the interpersonal skills needed to build effective relationships with internal and external clients.
  • You’re detail-oriented and analytical. You possess strong analytical and quantitative skills, can complete and explain detailed financial and statistical analysis, and are adept at managing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven and fast-paced environment.
