AMANDA Solution Lead / Architect (Consultant)

Job Type: Contract / Full-time

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced AMANDA Solution Lead / Architect Consultant to lead the design, architecture, and delivery of AMANDA platform solutions supporting municipal permitting, licensing, compliance, and land management operations.

This role will act as the primary technical and functional authority, responsible for defining scalable solution architectures, overseeing integrations, ensuring governance, and guiding cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong experience delivering municipal/public-sector AMANDA implementations and leading enterprise-level application transformations.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture & Leadership

  • Lead AMANDA solution architecture, design, and implementation initiatives
  • Define scalable workflows, system architecture, and operational models
  • Provide technical leadership and oversight across implementation and enhancement cycles

Business Process & Workflow Design

  • Analyze and assess municipal workflows and business processes
  • Design AMANDA workflows, folder structures, permissions, and business rules
  • Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions

Integration & Enterprise Architecture

  • Lead integration strategy for systems such as GIS, SSO/IAM, Power BI, FME, Salesforce IDP, and external APIs
  • Define API strategies and enterprise integration patterns
  • Ensure secure and efficient data exchange across systems

Governance & Delivery Oversight

  • Establish solution governance, standards, and quality assurance frameworks
  • Support deployment planning, release management, and technical validation
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and technical challenges

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

  • Work closely with business stakeholders, ITS teams, vendors, and delivery teams
  • Facilitate workshops, solution design sessions, and validation meetings
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to technical and configuration teams

Documentation & Support

  • Develop and maintain solution architecture documents and technical design artifacts
  • Lead knowledge transfer and training sessions
  • Support post-go-live stabilization and continuous improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications

Experience

  • 8+ years of experience with AMANDA platform (architecture, implementation, or consulting)
  • Proven track record in North American municipal/public-sector projects
  • Experience delivering enterprise-scale application modernization initiatives

Core Competencies

  • Strong understanding of municipal permitting, licensing, compliance, and land management workflows
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams (PM, BA, Dev, QA, Cloud, Security)
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills
