Workday is seeking a highly skilled and experienced AI Principal Product Manager to join our dynamic team and lead the development and implementation of AI-driven solutions across our corporate functions.
The AI Principal Product Manager will be responsible for developing and executing the product strategy for AI-based solutions aimed at optimizing business functions such as Sales, CX, and Marketing. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, corporate function leaders, and other stakeholders, to ensure that AI products meet business needs, are delivered on time, and drive significant value.
Responsibilities
The incumbent will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:

Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy for AI-driven solutions in corporate functions.

Identify opportunities for AI applications within corporate functions and prioritize initiatives based on business impact and feasibility.

Create and maintain a product roadmap that aligns with business goals and delivers value to internal stakeholders.

Collaborate with business leaders across Sales, CX, and Marketing and other corporate functions to understand their needs and pain points.

Stay up-to-date on AI trends, emerging technologies, and industry standard methodologies. Identify new AI opportunities and innovative solutions that can be applied to enhance business operations and customer experience.

Identify and manage relationships with external AI vendors, partners, and consultants to use external expertise and technologies.

Serve as the primary point of contact between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment and effective communication.

Gather and prioritize requirements from stakeholders, translating them into clear product specifications.

Work closely with data scientists and engineers to design and develop AI solutions that meet business requirements.

Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation through to deployment and iteration.

Oversee the design of user interfaces and experiences that enhance usability and adoption within corporate functions.

Ensure the quality and performance of AI solutions by overseeing testing, validation, and iteration processes.

Leverage data to drive decision-making and continuously improve AI products.

Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success and impact of AI products on corporate functions.

Monitor and analyze product performance, using insights to guide product enhancements and updates.

Ensure that AI products adhere to relevant regulations, ethical guidelines, and corporate policies.

Address concerns related to data privacy, bias, and transparency in AI solutions.

Assess competitive products and industry trends to inform product strategy and ensure competitive differentiation.
About You
Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. A Master's degree or MBA is preferred.

7-10 years of experience in product management, with at least 3+ years focused on AI or machine learning products.

Proven track record of successfully delivering AI-driven solutions in a corporate environment

Strong understanding of AI technologies, including machine learning, natural language processing, and data analytics.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex AI concepts to non-technical customers.

Workday Pay Transparency Statement
The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $164,900 USD - $288,000 USD
