Job Description
We are hiring an AI Ops Business Analyst to drive efficiency and reliability within our AI operations by building automated solutions and optimizing internal processes. At Motorola Solutions, we believe that "Solving for safer" starts with operational excellence. This role is designed for a highly organized, technically astute individual who has a proven track record of implementing formal AI automation workflows. You will not just document processes; you will be the catalyst that moves AI projects from development to production seamlessly.
The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between AI development, IT operations, and business stakeholders. You will use data and process mapping to identify opportunities for automation, acting as a force multiplier for our engineering teams. By reducing manual toil through formal automation implementation, you enable our experts to focus on uniquely human work—innovation, critical thinking, and empathy—to keep communities, schools, and businesses safer everywhere.
Basic Requirements
Technical Expertise
- Formal AI Automation Implementation to successfully transition manual AI/ML workflows into fully automated, production-ready pipelines
- Advanced English Proficiency to communicate effectively across global technical and business teams
- Process Mapping & Flow-charting to identify bottlenecks and manual steps ripe for automation
- SDLC Knowledge to align automation strategies with software development lifecycles
- Jira Proficiency to manage internal product backlogs and documentation
- CI/CD & Infrastructure-as-Code concepts to ensure automated solutions support modern deployment pipelines
- Basic Scripting Logic understanding to evaluate technical feasibility with engineering teams
- MLOps Principles to optimize model retraining and data governance workflows
Professional Experience
- 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Product Owner, or Process Improvement Analyst within a technical software domain
- Direct experience delivering automation projects where you served as the primary driver from requirement gathering to final implementation
- Requirements Elicitation to translate operational needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria
- ROI & Performance Metrics definition to track operational efficiency gains and reduced time-to-deployment
Soft Skills & Attributes
- Cross-Functional Collaboration to partner with engineers and IT operations for seamless solution integration
- Exceptional Organizational Skills to manage multiple internal backlogs simultaneously
