Job Title: AI Ethics Advisor (SME)

Level: Senior Advisory

Status: Contract (10-15 hours/week)

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced AI Ethics Advisor to ensure Vosyn's AI innovations adhere to the highest ethical standards. You will provide critical guidance on developing responsible AI technologies, focusing on explainability, bias mitigation, and policy integration to align cutting-edge AI development with robust ethical principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive AI ethics frameworks and governance models
  • Provide strategic guidance on ethical considerations in AI development
  • Design and implement bias detection and mitigation strategies
  • Create mechanisms for AI system explainability and transparency
  • Advise on ethical implications of emerging AI technologies
  • Develop policy recommendations for responsible AI innovation
  • Assess potential societal impacts of AI applications
  • Support interdisciplinary collaboration on ethical AI challenges
  • Design training programs for ethical AI awareness

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in AI ethics, technology policy, or related fields
  • Advanced degree in Philosophy, Computer Science, Law, or Ethics
  • Deep understanding of AI technologies and their societal implications
  • Proven track record in developing ethical frameworks for emerging technologies
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Exceptional communication abilities
  • Experience in bias detection and mitigation methodologies
  • Comprehensive knowledge of global AI ethics guidelines and regulations
  • Ability to translate complex ethical concepts into actionable strategies

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Publications in AI ethics journals
  • Experience in regulatory compliance for AI technologies
  • Background in human rights or technology policy
  • Interdisciplinary research experience
  • Knowledge of international AI governance frameworks
