This is a top strategic priority for the CRV partnership. They are looking for a high-agency builder who can harness frontier models to supercharge how the firm finds, evaluates, and supports the next generation of iconic companies.
You’ll work directly with investing partners and the CRV data team to build internal tools, workflows, and agents that give them an edge, from sourcing founders earlier to accelerating investment research and portfolio insights.

→ Are fluent in Python/TypeScript and modern ML/infra stacks (OpenAI, Anthropic, Vercel, LanceDB, etc.)

→ Are based in SF Bay Area and want to work side-by-side with investors in-office
Compensation
Base Salary Range: $150K – $300K annually
Carry: This role may be eligible for participation in the firm’s carried interest program, subject to the terms of applicable plans and agreements.

- This is a unique opportunity to be the first engineer building the backbone of a top VC's internal AI systems. You’ll experiment fast, prototype ambitiously, and spearhead the roadmap for how CRV uses AI across sourcing, diligence, portfolio support, and internal operations.
