Duties and Responsibility:
- Starting at $92,000/ annually.

- Develop and deploy AI-based automation systems for robotic assembly, welding, and material handling lines.
- Integrate computer vision for real-time defect detection, part verification, and surface inspection.
- Collaborate with controls engineers to enhance existing PLC - robot communication for smarter decision-making.
- Analyze production data (cycle times, scrap rates, downtime) to identify root causes and optimize line efficiency.
- Build data pipelines connecting shopfloor (robots, PLCs, and sensors) to AI analytics platforms (Edge or Cloud).
- Develop Power BI dashboards to visualize KPIs such as OEE, throughput, and quality trends.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives with AI-assisted process tuning.
- Implement predictive maintenance solutions using vibration, current, or temperature sensor data from robotic, compressor and other equipment.
- Participate in internal audits (ITGC, MAFACT, IATF) and maintain accurate documentation and change management system/control
- Available to respond to and resolve off hour inquiries and emergencies.
- Maintains familiarity with current technologies and future trends.

- Must comply with all ISO 14001 (Environmental) and OHSAS 18001 (Health and

Performance Measurement:
- Enhance product quality via real-time defect detection.
- Optimize robotic workflows and material handling paths.
- Reduce unplanned downtime with predictive maintenance.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor or Masters degree in Mechatronics, Automation, Computer Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
- 3+ years of experience in automotive manufacturing or a high-volume industrial automation environment.
- Hands-on experience with PLC, industrial robots, IoT sensors
- Proficiency with Ignition, SQL Programming, Python
- AI / ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch), and computer vision tools (OpenCV).
- Experienced in implementing neural net based classifiers.
- Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and reinforcement learning technics.
- Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (OPC-UA, Modbus, MQTT).
- Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing and process control principles.
Preferred
- Experience implementing AI vision systems for assembly and final inspection.
- Background with predictive maintenance or industrial IoT.
