About The Role
We’re hiring an AI Engineer to lead the development of intelligent systems across our ventures. You’ll design, prototype, and deploy AI-powered features—from LLM-driven experiences to predictive analytics. You’ll also be responsible for exploring and applying small language models (SLMs) that can run efficiently within our products, ensuring we balance cutting-edge capabilities with speed, cost, and scalability.
What You’ll Do
- Prototype and productionize AI-powered features using modern ML/AI frameworks.
- Integrate large language models (LLMs) from providers such as OpenAI and Anthropic, as well as open-source models from Meta and others (e.g., LLaMA, Mistral, Falcon).
- Explore and implement small language models (SLMs) to create efficient, product-embedded AI solutions.
- Build pipelines for fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and evaluation.
- Work with structured and unstructured datasets to extract insights and power features.
- Collaborate with product and design to shape user-facing AI interactions.
- Stay ahead of emerging trends and apply them pragmatically in ventures.
What We’re Looking For
- 4+ years of experience in applied ML or AI engineering.
- Strong Python skills and familiarity with ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, HuggingFace).
- Experience working with large language models and generative AI.
- Familiarity with small/edge language models and strategies for efficient deployment.
- Knowledge of vector databases, embeddings, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
- Ability to take projects from prototype to production in a lean environment.
- A passion for solving real-world problems with AI.
Bonus
- Experience in early-stage startups or venture studios.
- Background in data engineering, NLP, or computer vision.
- Contributions to open-source AI/ML projects.
