AI Delivery Lead

Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Delivery Lead to oversee and manage the successful execution of projects and services, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet client requirements. The Delivery Lead will work across multiple teams, ensuring the integration of technical expertise in cloud engineering, data engineering, machine learning, or generative AI to deliver exceptional solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, resource management, and technical skills to drive project success in these rapidly evolving technologies.
Key Responsibilities:

• Project Delivery Management:
  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex technical projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to define project goals, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Implement agile methodologies to facilitate efficient project execution, adapt to changes, and ensure timely project completion.
• Resource Management:
  • Manage and allocate resources across multiple projects based on priorities and team expertise, ensuring optimal utilization of talent.
  • Coordinate with resource managers and team leads to forecast and plan for necessary skill sets, ensuring the team has the required capabilities to meet project demands.
  • Track and ensure appropriate levels of staffing and workload balance, optimizing team performance.
• Client & Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Maintain close relationships with clients to ensure clear communication and alignment of expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide regular status updates, project milestones, and risk mitigation strategies to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Manage client escalations and resolve issues promptly while maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.
• Technical Leadership:
  • Provide oversight on technical aspects of projects, ensuring the integration of cloud engineering, data engineering, machine learning, or generative AI best practices.
  • Ensure the project delivery adheres to established technical frameworks and standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex technical problems and drive innovation in solutions.
• Risk & Issue Management:
  • Identify potential risks and proactively manage mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure the project stays on track and address any obstacles, including resource bottlenecks, technical challenges, and scope creep.
• Continuous Improvement:
  • Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and overall project delivery quality.
  • Encourage the adoption of new technologies, tools, and methodologies to stay at the forefront of innovation in cloud, data, and AI.
  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of learning and growth.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Technical Skills (Any of the following depending on department Cloud, Data Engineer, GenAI, Machine Learning):
  • Expertise in cloud engineering on AWS Cloud.
  • Strong understanding of data engineering concepts, including data pipelines, ETL processes, and data modeling.
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks and algorithms (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.) and understanding of generative AI technologies.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML deployment in cloud environments and using cloud services for scalable AI solutions.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, or Java.
• Leadership and Management Skills:
  • Proven experience in leading and managing technical teams, driving successful delivery in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong resource management experience, with the ability to manage team members' workloads and skillsets effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing project requirements.
• Project Management Skills:
  • Demonstrated experience with Agile/Scrum project management methodologies.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or similar platforms.
  • Experience managing project budgets, timelines, and deliverables while maintaining high standards of quality.
• Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking:
  • Ability to quickly identify and resolve project issues and risks, maintaining progress toward successful delivery.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to ensure the successful resolution of complex technical challenges.

Preferred Qualifications (Any of the following depending on department Cloud, Data Engineer, GenAI, Machine Learning):

• Experience with generative AI technologies on AWS
• Experience with data engineering technology on AWS
• Experience with machine learning technology on AWS
• Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban, and tools like Jira and Confluence.
