About The Role
We are seeking a dynamic Advisors Experience Specialist to join our team. This individual will play a crucial role in onboarding and supporting new independent advisors, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and tools to succeed. The role requires a deep understanding of investment products, such as mutual funds and segregated funds, combined with excellent presentation and communication skills.

What You’ll Do

  • Facilitate a seamless onboarding experience for new independent advisors, introducing them to HUB’s suite of products, tools, and technologies.

  • Provide training and support to ensure advisors are fully up-to-date on investment products, including mutual funds, segregated funds, and other financial products.

  • Conduct engaging presentations and webinars to educate advisors on available software, tools, and technology systems.

  • Act as a liaison between the advisor and various HUB departments to ensure smooth integration and ongoing support.

  • Stay current with industry trends and technological advancements to provide relevant and timely updates to advisors.

  • Develop strong, positive relationships with advisors, addressing their needs and supporting their success.

  • Regularly evaluate advisor feedback to enhance the onboarding process and improve overall advisor satisfaction.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive training materials and guides to support advisor onboarding and ongoing education, ensuring advisors stay informed about industry changes, regulations, and procedures.

  • Participate in both large and small projects as assigned, with a focus on the investment industry and initiatives aimed at enhancing the advisor experience.

  • Other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need for Success

  • Minimum 2-3 years in a related role, preferably within the financial services industry.

  • Experience with mutual funds and/or segregated funds is essential.

  • Familiarity with different account types such as Non-Registered Accounts (Cash, Margin, Joint etc.) as well as Registered Accounts (RRSPs, TFSAs, RESPs etc.) is an asset.

  • Strong presentation and training skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead webinars or in-person sessions.

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Proficiency with financial software and CRM systems; comfort with technology and digital tools.

  • Proficient in MS 365: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, Adobe

  • Experience with video platforms such as MS Team or Zoom

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Relevant industry certifications are a plus (e.g., IFIC, CSC)
