A Day in the LifeWe are seeking a strategic and execution-focused Advanced Analytics Program Manager to join our Enablement and Strategy team, specifically within the Operational Effectiveness branch. This unique role is pivotal in standing up and overseeing our Analytics Sustainability Program, ensuring the effective management and maintenance of our extensive analytics ecosystem. The position involves defining the program's scope, guidelines, governance structure, operating model, and associated processes.
The Advanced Analytics Program Manager will work closely with both new product development teams (squads) and sustainability product teams (sustain squads) to support the existing analytics ecosystem. Key responsibilities include intake management & triage, analytics product updates, ecosystem/platform health, and quality assurance. The role requires implementing a phased approach to stand up the program, collaboratively designing systems and processes for sustain squads, including governance and operating models, roles and responsibilities, and interaction protocols with new product development teams. Additionally, they will develop metrics to monitor the success of the Sustain Program, manage regular report outs to leadership, and ensure effective operation of sustainability activities.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Lead the establishment of the analytics sustainability program, defining its scope, guidelines, governance structure, and operating model
  • Build, document, and evolve policies and procedures for efficient team operations
  • Work closely with both new product development squads and sustainability squads as well as inter-team departments (Product Owners, Application Development, Analytics Data Engineering, etc.) to determine most effective ways to support the existing analytics ecosystem
  • Focus on standing up processes so that the Sustain Squads can execute key activities such as intake management, triage, analytics product updates, ecosystem health, and quality assurance
  • Implement a phased approach to stand up the program, initially concentrating on intake management, triage, updates to analytics products, ad hoc requests, data refresh monitoring, and runtime performance
  • Design systems and processes for sustainability squads, including governance and operating models, roles and responsibilities, and interaction protocols with new product development teams
  • Define and develop metrics to monitor the success of the sustainability program, manage regular report outs to leadership, and ensure effective operation of sustainability activities

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Skilled in project setup, process documentation, training, and identifying subject matter experts
  • Highly organized with a keen eye for detail
  • Effective in communication across teams and with end users
  • Knowledgeable in Power BI, Power Automate, SQL (Structured Query Language), and Python
  • Experienced in managing and evaluating incoming requests
  • Familiar with Azure DevOps and the Scrum framework

Experience in managing analytics sustainability programs and working with cross-functional teams is highly desirable. Familiarity with advanced analytics tools and platforms, as well as a strong understanding of data governance and quality assurance practices, will be advantageous.
