  • Partner with Finance, Investments, Risk, Apollo, regulators, and auditors to support capital management, regulatory reporting, strategic transactions, and ALM initiatives.
  • Provide actuarial expertise and business insights that support capital optimization, reinsurance transactions, dividend planning, and enterprise decision-making.
  • Influence valuation methodologies, assumptions, and actuarial best practices through cross-functional collaboration and technical leadership.
  • Leverage modern analytics, automation, and AI-enabled tools to improve actuarial modeling, reporting quality, and operational efficiency while mentoring and sharing knowledge with actuarial colleagues.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 6+ years of relevant actuarial experience in life insurance or reinsurance valuation, capital management, financial reporting, or related actuarial functions, or relevant experience.
  • Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) or equivalent required; Fellowship (FSA) preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or another related quantitative discipline.
  • Experience with EBS, LICAT, CALM, or comparable regulatory capital and valuation frameworks; experience with annuities, pension risk transfer (PRT), or other asset-intensive insurance products is preferred.
  • Experience with actuarial modeling platforms (e.g., AXIS, MG-ALFA) and strong proficiency with Excel and modern analytics tools such as Python, R, SQL, and Power BI.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex business problems, influence stakeholders, communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences, and thrive in a collaborative, fast paced environment with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools to enhance analytical workflows is a plus
