Vault Home Credit Corporation (VaultPay) is designed to ease the consumer financing transaction between our Partners and Homeowners. We offer customers total payment control with simple and easy financing options for Homeowners and their Home Improvement loans.

Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer and overseeing a small but dedicated team, take ownership of the loan administration, accounting, treasury and reporting functions including:
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, coordinating activities across various departments to ensure deadlines are met and financial results are accurately recorded.
- Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and prepare financial schedules to identify and address discrepancies.
- Serve as a key liaison with external auditors during financial statement audits and reviews. Prepare audit schedules, respond to auditor inquiries, and facilitate the resolution of audit findings in a timely manner.
- Develop and distribute monthly internal management reporting packages to the executive leadership team.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Prepare HST remittances and annual reporting.
- Conduct financial analysis and provide insights into the organization's financial health identifying opportunities and risks.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
- Lead the various finance transformation projects such as system integrations, new product rollouts, and process improvement.
Employees/Staff development and Training
- Provide development support and guidance to team members.
- Be actively involved in the on-site training of new team members and team events.
- Positively reinforcing successful performance and provide feedback to management.
- Ensure that company policy and procedures are communicated to the team and implemented.
General:
- Maintain positive, effective, and professional relationship with team members and internal departments.
- Maintain confidentiality relating to staff and company matters.
- Be available for in-office schedules (hybrid work environment).
Skills Knowledge & Experience
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
- Relevant university degree or college diploma.
- Supervisory experience an asset.
- CPA designation would be an asset.
- Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, policies and procedures.
- Detail orientated, with excellent organizational and follow up skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, activities and tasks simultaneously.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Energetic team player with ability to work independently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of Aspire and Net Suite would be an asset.
