We are looking for an Accounting Analyst to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Controller,
this role will support full-cycle accounting, month-end close, and key financial reporting
activities.
This is a hands-on role for someone with strong accounting fundamentals, sharp attention to
detail, and an ownership mindset who’s excited to help build and improve scalable financial
processes in a collaborative, fast-growing environment.
Pay range: $80,000 - $95,000

You Will:
- Execute full-cycle accounting and prepare reconciliations for key general ledger accounts (cash, payables, pre-paids, and capital assets)
- Ensure compliance of accounting transactions with local accounting standards, tax and legal requirements
- Prepare key components and supporting working papers within the month-end close including processing period and year-end journal entries
- Assist in the preparation of various monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports as required for internal and external stakeholders including legal entity and consolidated financial statements
- Assist in the execution of external financial audits including the preparation of auditor requests, drafting accounting memos and preparing support for note disclosures
- Contribute to the design and implementation of key operational/financial controls, which allow the company to scale and mitigate fraud or misuse of company resources. In addition, review existing accounting procedures and policies to identify and recommend improvements
- Collaborate with the Finance team in all accounting activities. Facilitate and lead key accounting projects as required
You Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce or Finance
- Enrolled in or hold Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation
- 2+ years of experience in an Accounting role
- An understanding of full cycle accounting and bookkeeping as well as strong knowledge of Finance and Accounting concepts
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google G-suite products
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with an emphasis on proficiency with lookups and pivots
- Experience working within accounting systems including posting modules, general ledgers, financial statement exports and reports
- Foundational knowledge of financial statements, including the preparation of basic income statements, balance sheets, and cash flows
- An “ownership” mindset, with the capacity to learn new tools quickly, identify and propose solutions to resolve challenges independently or as part of a team
- The ability to thrive within a team environment, recognizing you cannot succeed working in a silo and understand the importance of establishing strong relationships across teams
- High attention to detail and accuracy in everything you do, which help you regularly solve challenging problems
- Exceptional time management and prioritization skills with a knack to regularly re-prioritize tasks based on importance and manage your time each day to fulfill your responsibilities and meet deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
