We’re looking for a Territory Sales Representative to join our team!

The Sales Representative is responsible for implementing sales and service strategies for our by-products collection service for restaurants, grocery stores, and industrial accounts for the territory covering Toronto, Scarbourg and Kingston .

This position requires frequent travel to customer offices and facilities, with approximately 80% of your time dedicated to travel.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to grow our customers database.

  • Adapt a consultative approach to add additional service to suit customer needs

  • Maintain steady growth through identification of new prospects

  • Collaborate with the key accounts management team on specific nationwide partnerships that have already been established

  • Establish and improve customer relationships with restaurant and grocery store owners

  • Review our current offer with customers present in your territory to maximize sales, customer satisfaction and improve renewal on an on-going basis

  • Manage the volume of business for your assigned territory

  • Create innovative customer service initiatives to increase customer satisfaction

  • Follow up with customers and our customer service team via phone, email, and other channels to provide support

  • Travel to meet customer facilities to enhance understanding of their business needs

Skills and Experience:

  • University/College diploma in Marketing, Sales, Business Management, or equivalent experience

  • 3-5 years of experience in sales, new business development, and market growth

  • Sales experience in the food industry, restaurant and grocery store (an asset)

  • Proven track record in business development and successful innovation

  • Being able to adapt rapidly and willingness to succeed

  • Valid Ontario driver’s license

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Excellent time management & organizational skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Resourceful and capable of working independently while thinking creatively
