About The Opportunity

Position Summary
Menasha Packaging Canada is looking for a strategic thinker who can help support our growth aspirations and account ownership. Candidates will have a passion for supporting customers, as well as supporting an industry leading Packaging organization. This role will help develop, grow and execute a commercial plan for existing customer(s).
Develops and maintains favorable relationships with existing clients in order to increase revenue with the ability to influence internal teams and customer stakeholders at senior levels. Ensures that organizational goods or services consistently meet client needs. May be responsible for providing sales quotations as well as sustaining and renewing client contracts.

Essential Job Functions

The following duties are normal for this position.  The incumbent may perform some or all of these duties however; it is not an exclusive or all-inclusive list.  Other duties may be assigned.

 

 

  • Assume overall responsibility for the relationship and operational care of assigned existing customer(s) to ensure complete customer satisfaction.

  • Entrepreneurial minded with a strong understanding of the CPG industry and the ability to create new avenues leading to business growth with existing customer(s)

  • Ability to understand customer requirements to offer suitable solutions that generate growth opportunities

  • Responsible for maintaining a monthly customer forecast and developing annual customer sales budget

  • Act as a liaison between internal customer departments to execute on customer plans

  • Highly skilled at cultivating partnership-type relationships with client management

  • Pro-active with respect to providing timely feedback regarding sales activities, contacts, meetings, and opportunities identified, resources required and action steps necessary

  • Excellent leadership and coordination skills to introduce our expertise to ensure maximum account penetration

  • Knowledge of sales processes and tools to increase sales revenue through maximizing corporate resources and shortening sales cycles

  • Provide timely updates to management (as determined by management) regarding sales activities: contacts, meetings, opportunities identified, resources required and action steps to secure targeted sales

  • Ensures and supports to make sure Food safety, Quality, HACCP and GMP is always followed

  • Strategic Growth Planning: Develop multi-year account growth strategies, including innovation opportunities and margin improvement.

  • Executive Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with senior-level client executives.

  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Use analytics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.

  • Contract Governance: Manage complex agreements and ensure compliance.

  • Leadership in Customer Engagement: Lead Quarterly Business Reviews and strategic planning session

  • Change management and adaptability in dynamic environments.

Education & Experience

  •  Bachelor’s degree

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience required

 

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

  • Primarily works in an office environment with occasional time spent in a production and/or warehouse setting

  • Position may be based at Menasha Packaging site or customer location
