Act as liaison between sales reps and operations to support existing accounts and pursue new business via inside/outside outreach. Prepare quotes, maintain databases, respond to customer inquiries, run review calls, and deliver strong customer service while completing assigned tasks.
Mandate:
Reporting to the Vice President of Customer Relationship Manager, Sales, the Account Manager- Inside Sales will serve as the key liaison between our sales representatives and the operations team. In this role, you will support existing accounts while also identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through both inside and outside sales outreach. Responsibilities include preparing customer quotes, maintaining and updating databases, and consistently delivering exceptional customer service. Additional duties involve responding to customer inquiries, conducting customer review calls, and fulfilling other tasks assigned by the company.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of sales or operations experience in a 3PL freight forwarding environment
- Experience in ocean, air, ground, brokerage, or warehousing is considered an asset
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field is considered an asset
- CIFFA certification considered an asset
- Travel may be required
