Edelman Toronto is seeking a bold, insightful and passionate candidate to join our fast growing and constantly evolving national Creator Marketing team as an Account Manager, focusing on one of the world's largest and sought after retail brands.
 
We are looking for someone immersed in the latest trends, opportunities, regulations and best practices of the creator space. If you have managed influencer programs from start to finish and can develop and sell in strategic plans to clients, this might be the role for you!

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full creator process for programs including influencer identification, vetting, negotiation, contracting, management and reporting
  • Manage multiple creator projects to ensure deadlines are met, reporting is thorough and budgets are continuously met
  • Coordinate program integration with appropriate specialties including Insight and Analytics, Paid Performance, and Creative
  • Lead development of content and brand overview documents for creators outlining program creative requirements, communication mandatories and contractual expectations
  • Support the growth of our influencer marketing business through great work, exceptional storytelling skills and through building strong internal and external relationships
  • Stay up to date with the latest creator marketing trends including disclosure requirements and performance best practices
  • Act as a champion and evangelist for the value of thoughtful, rigorous and creative influencer marketing both within the Edelman network and across the marketing industry as a whole

Basic Qualifications:

  • 4 years of relevant experience in Digital, Content or Brand Marketing including social media and community management
  • 3 years within creator-specific marketing, including identification of creators, managing creator programs, outreach strategies, content planning, contracting/negotiations, paid promotion and reporting
  • Passion for creator marketing and its evolving landscape
  • Ability to work simultaneously on multiple programs 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, ideally with agency experience
  • Past experience working with retail, fashion, or lifestyle clients, and interest in fashion
  • Have well developed presentation capabilities – both in terms of providing compelling and detailed counsel to clients, as well as internal stakeholders
  • Strong ability to manage multiple programs at any given time, understanding our processes for executing seamless influencer programs
  • Proven ability to lead and manage multiple medium to large-sized projects simultaneously that include digital content development
  • Clear understanding of the creator marketing landscape, importance and role of creator marketing, and best practices
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop creator plans
  • Strong research, writing and editing skills
  • Ability to interact with clients professionally and maintain relationships with influencers/content creators
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of internal contacts (junior staff, peers, and senior staff), demonstrating a consistently high level of verbal and written communications.
