Job Description:

Job Summary

The Account Executive is responsible for driving business development for small to medium-sized accounts while also managing large accounts when necessary for logistical reasons. This role involves identifying sales opportunities, increasing revenue, and ensuring excellent customer service. The Account Executive will work closely with the Area Sales Manager to communicate market trends, competitive insights, and customer needs.

Job Type: Permanent Position | Full-time

Work Shift: Monday to Friday (9:00 AM - 5:30 PM) *

*Flexibility required according to business needs

Location 1: 550 Hanlon Creek Boulevard, Guelph

Location 2: 65 TRILLIUM PARK PLACE KITCHENER, ON N2E 1X1 Canada

Salary: $58,044 - $60,744 annually + SIP (Sales Incentive Program)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and grow revenue through customer visits and proactive outreach.

  • Identify new sales opportunities and strengthen existing client relationships.

  • Follow up on leads generated through internal teams and customer inquiries.

  • Address service challenges, resolve claims, and ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Provide market insights, competitive analysis, and feedback to the Area Sales Manager.

  • Manage multiple tasks efficiently and adapt to flexible working hours when needed.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Post-secondary education or a minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service, sales, or a related field.

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments and manage a high workload.

  • Strong time management skills, attention to detail, and customer service orientation.

  • The successful candidate must have their own vehicle to ensure they are able to travel between different locations as needed to support the business.
