About the Role

As an Account Executive, Marketing Suite, you will play a pivotal role in introducing a transformative solution to eCommerce marketers. This is more than just selling a new product; it’s about helping marketers solve their toughest challenges, from engaging customers to driving revenue growth.

You’ll work directly with marketing stakeholders to understand their goals, align our product to their needs, and position the Marketing Suite as the essential tool for success. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely and cross-functionally with teams to refine messaging, iterate on sales strategies, and build a scalable sales motion.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and Implement Closing Strategies: Create and execute comprehensive sales plans aimed at closing merchants on the marketing suite platform, ensuring alignment with company revenue targets.

  • Engage Prospective Clients: Identify and engage potential clients, understanding their needs and effectively communicating the value of Gorgias’ solutions.

  • Drive Sales Processes: Oversee the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing, ensuring a seamless and efficient process.

  • Coordinate with Cross-Functional Teams: Partner with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure cohesive strategies and optimal support for acquisition efforts.

  • Monitor Market Trends: Stay informed about industry developments and competitor activities to adapt acquisition strategies accordingly.

  • Report on Sales Metrics: Provide regular updates on acquisition progress, pipeline status, and key insights to the executive team.

Who You are

  • Sales Experience: At least 2 year of sales experience selling marketing technology, with a proven ability to meet and exceed quotas. Experience selling to eCommerce marketers is a major plus.

  • Excellent Communicator: Strong communication and writing skills in English, with the ability to articulate value propositions clearly and persuasively.

  • Results-Oriented: Selling is your passion—you’re driven to close deals, navigate objections, and aren’t afraid of hearing “no.”

  • Quick Learner: You’re excited about learning, improving your craft daily, and staying ahead of industry trends.

  • Process-Oriented: Able to understand complex ideas and identify ways to streamline and automate processes for efficiency.

  • Active Listener: You excel at uncovering customer pain points and aligning solutions to their needs.

  • Adaptable: You embrace challenges and can pivot quickly to adjust strategies as the product and market evolve.
