Job Description

At Clearpath Robotics by Rockwell Automation, Research Systems team is looking for a well organized, relationship-oriented Technical Account Executive with proven skills across all account functions: business development, direct technical sales, and account management. You will report to the Sales Manager. You will work onsite in Waterloo, ON with travel to customer sites.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Review client projects and applications, and help with the scoping & configuration of application-appropriate robotic solutions for customers, independently and in collaboration with our team of Engineers

  • Gains customer acceptance by explaining or demonstrating product features and software

  • Submits orders by conferring with technical support staff and costing engineering changes.

  • Provide company, product, and technical overview presentations

  • Provide pre-sales quotes to customers

  • Check purchase orders for accuracy against the quote or standards before processing Provide technical assistance to the customers - answering technical queries and perform research when answers are not immediately available

  • Execute outreach campaigns and secure net new business

  • Promote and sell Clearpath as a full-service robotic solutions provider

  • Maintain a high level of knowledge of new technology and our solution offerings

  • Contribute to sales engineering effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed,

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Years of Relevant Work Experience

  • Legal authorization to work in Canada is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

  • The ability to travel upto 25% of the time including international travel.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

  • University degree in a STEM- Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics

  • 2+ years of relevant industry experience in a variety of technical roles including Applications Engineering, Project/Program Management and Technical Sales

  • Experience with CRM products such as Salesforce.com

  • Ability to deliver compelling presentations to prospects, customers, and partners.

This posting is for an existing vacancy within our organization. 

For this role, the total target compensation is from $ 105,600.00 - $ 158,400.00 CAD Annual. Actual pay will be based on factors such as skills, knowledge, education, and experience.

This position is part of a job family. Experience will be the determining factor for position level and compensation.
