Roles and Responsibilities: 

 

> Inbound Sales and Lead Management:

  • Handle and close inbound leads efficiently, ensuring prospects move seamlessly through the sales funnel.
  • Follow up on and nurture leads to maintain engagement and maximize conversion opportunities.
  • Develop tailored follow-up strategies for long-term prospects and re-engage dormant leads.

> Collaboration with BDRs:

  • Work closely with BDRs to refine and optimize scripts and outreach strategies.
  • Mentor BDRs by providing regular feedback and guidance to enhance their effectiveness.
  • Align with BDRs to ensure smooth lead handoffs and cohesive team performance.

> CRM Ownership:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM (HubSpot experience is an asset).
  • Regularly audit and clean CRM data to ensure accuracy and usability.
  • Identify opportunities for CRM automation to streamline lead management and nurturing.

> Event Hosting and Reporting:

  • Host and help plan events to promote engagement and brand visibility.
  • Collaborate with marketing on innovative event ideas to target new audiences.
  • Report on events providing actionable insights for improvement and information for BDRs and the rest of the Sales Team.

> Sales Enablement and Content Creation:

  • Contribute to competitive analysis and maintain battle cards to equip the sales team for success.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Sales and Sales Team Marketing Coordinator to develop sales collateral, case studies, and content for outreach.
  • Contribute to customer storytelling, gathering and sharing client success stories to strengthen pitches.

> Market Research and Strategy Development:

  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor moves, and new opportunities to adapt strategies.
  • Identify emerging channels and propose creative ideas to expand reach and engagement.
  • Work with the Director of Sales to align with marketing to explore and test new marketing channels.
  • Be prepared to test some outreach/outbound techniques.

> Partner and Referral Program Management:

  • Maintain relationships with partners as directed to secure new deals and identify collaboration opportunities.
  • Assist in identifying and onboarding new partners to expand the company’s market reach.
  • Assist in development and launch of a referral program to incentivize client and partner recommendations.

> Personal Branding and Industry Engagement:

  • Establish a personal brand in the industry through thought leadership and participation in relevant discussions.
  • Represent the company at events, webinars, and on professional platforms like LinkedIn.

> Team Collaboration and Internal Support:

  • Host workshops or check-ins with team members to align goals and strategies.
  • Share insights from customer feedback and market research with sales, marketing, and product teams.
  • Work with the customer success/operations teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and a positive customer experience.

> Data and Performance Analysis:

  • Consistently track own sales metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Provide weekly and monthly reports on pipeline progress, conversion rates, and personal performance.
  • Benchmark performance against industry standards and implement adjustments as needed.

 

Additional Responsibilities:

 

  • Assist with development of SOP, sales processes, and playbooks to improve team efficiency.
  • Draft and customize proposals and quotes tailored to client needs.
  • Contribute to the development of educational resources (e.g., white papers, webinars, blog posts).
  • Assist with internal projects to support team-wide goals and priorities.

 

Skills and Experience

 

  • A proactive and results-oriented sales professional with a passion for collaboration and innovation.
  • Skilled at building relationships, analyzing data, and driving continuous improvement.
  • Experienced in CRM systems (HubSpot experience is preferred) and sales automation tools.
  • A strategic thinker with a knack for identifying new opportunities and crafting creative solutions.
  • Excited to work in a fully remote environment and contribute to a growing team.
  • 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in an inbound or consultative sales environment.
  • Experience collaborating with marketing and customer success teams.
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Located in Western Canada.
  • Able to work ½ Saturday per month.

 

Other Requirements:

 

  • Work From Home: Fully remote, Western Canada (BC/Alberta preferred)
  • Flexible work environment
  • Wage Range: $60K - $70K Base Depended on Experience, On Target Earnings $120+
