As an Account Development Representative (ADR) at Tractian, your focus will be on generating qualified pipeline and supporting revenue growth through proactive prospecting and market engagement. You will identify and engage potential customers, qualify inbound and outbound opportunities, and help set the foundation for successful sales conversations.
Working closely with Account Executives, you will contribute directly to revenue goals by consistently delivering high-quality meetings and opportunities while building strong product and market knowledge within the industrial manufacturing space.
- Proactively prospect and generate qualified leads through outbound and inbound activities to support pipeline and revenue targets
- Conduct outbound outreach via phone, email, and social channels in compliance with applicable regulations, including Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL)
- Engage and qualify prospective customers by understanding their needs, challenges, and potential fit with Tractian’s solutions
- Utilize HubSpot CRM to log activities, manage leads, and track progress against individual goals
- Collaborate closely with Account Executives to hand off qualified opportunities and support successful deal progression
- Research target accounts, industries, and market trends to inform outreach strategies and improve engagement quality
- Participate in industry events, trade shows, and marketing initiatives to identify and surface new business opportunities
- Provide consistent reporting on outreach activity, pipeline contribution, and performance against goals
- 1–3 years of experience in outbound prospecting, sales development, or business development, preferably in a SaaS or technology-driven environment
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed activity and pipeline-generation targets
- Strong interest in developing a career in sales, with a clear path toward an Account Executive role based on performance
- Proficiency with HubSpot CRM or similar tools for lead management, activity tracking, and reporting
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills with the ability to engage prospects in thoughtful, value-driven conversations
- Experience with outbound prospecting tools such as Apollo, Lusha, ZoomInfo, or similar platforms
- Ability to quickly understand complex concepts and articulate business value to multiple stakeholder types
