JOB OVERVIEW
We are currently seeking an Account Administration Associate. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support with the utmost sense of urgency and exceptional accuracy on all Financial and Non-Financial requests received from clientele. Areas of responsibility may include Debits/Credits, New Accounts, Estates, Transfers among other desks.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Conduct adequate analysis and process all new financial/transactional request types 

  • Ensure proper documentation and appropriate authorization is obtained as per company policies and procedures before processing any transactional requests 

  • Able to handle a fast paced and demanding area. Requests are expected to be handled with care while providing same day service. 

  • Ensure all internal and custodian compliance procedures are adhered to. 

  • Resolve inquiries from internal departments in an efficient and professional manner 

  • Recognize potential issues and report to management immediately for further escalation 

  • Assist with special projects during peak periods as assigned, and contribute to ongoing initiatives undertaken by the department 

  • Must be flexible and able to work overtime during specific times of the year (i.e. RSP season, year end)  

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • Post-secondary Education (preferably with a focus in Business or Accounting) 

  • Enrollment or completion of CSC and/or IFIC Operations course would be an asset 

  • Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word  

  • Ability to work well under pressure and within time constraints 

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills  

  • Keen attention to detail  

  • Strong knowledge of Registered Product Legislation (RRSP, RESP, RRIF, LIRA, LIF) is an asset 

  • Extensive knowledge of industry back-office or Operations practices
