The Manager Human Resources leads the plant’s HR function by driving world‑class strategies in safety, staffing, labor relations, training, and organizational development while promoting the plant’s vision, mission, and values. This role ensures the organization is staffed with high-performing, innovative team members and oversees succession planning, career pathing, and workforce planning. It develops and administers progressive HR policies that ensure compliance with both legal requirements and company standards. Additionally, the Plant HR Manager strengthens team member engagement by managing team member systems, championing employee education, and supporting adherence to company policies and procedures.
What You'll Do
Serve as a strategic business partner by understanding the industry, business conditions, and local labor market, and guiding the team toward a high‑performance organization.
Strengthen organizational capability through effective succession planning, workforce planning, and plant-wide training and education systems.
Lead the HR function toward world‑class performance by coaching, mentoring, and developing HR team members.
Provide continuous development opportunities to enhance HR team capabilities.
Promote and model workplace safety practices while leading efforts to improve safety, health, and wellness across the plant.
Administer HR programs, systems, and company policies to drive continuous improvement and ensure consistent, effective application of Goodyear policy.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
10+ years of HR experience, including 5+ years as an HR Manager in a manufacturing environment, with strong expertise across employee relations, labor relations, workforce planning, employment law, OSHA compliance, and policy administration in both union and non‑union settings.
What Will Set you Apart
Demonstrated ability to build high‑performing teams, facilitate at all organizational levels, and work effectively with manufacturing teams through senior leadership using strong interpersonal and managerial skills.
SPHR/PHR certification(s) and/or a master’s degree are preferred.
Clear verbal and written communication across teams and stakeholders.

$121,137.00 - $224,965.00However, base pay offered may vary depending on factors such-as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location.
