Enter and verify settlement events in the CDAS system, support Settlement Specialists with research and adjustments, perform clerical file maintenance, cover AP Admin tasks, and comply with company policies.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Responsible for inputting settlement events into the CDAS system, reviewing settlement information in CDAS, and other administrative tasks within the settlement department
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Manually transfer information provided by service centers and vendors into CDAS to ensure accurate payment
- Verify/validate CDAS in comparison to source information to ensure accurate payments to Cartage and Contractors
- Support the Settlement Specialists in researching inquiries providing them with the information findings in a timely manner
- Perform clerical duties to ensure that files are maintained
- Support Settlement Specialists with processing assigned adjustments in CDAS
- Support and cover AP Admin Associates
- Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures
- Perform other duties as required

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- One (1) year accounting, finance, or related experience
- Experience working in the Transportation Industry
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Sharepoint, Teams, Outlook)
- Ability/willingness to learn new applications, software, systems, and equipment as required
- Ability to manage competing and changing priorities
- Good verbal, reading and written communication skills
- Bilingual (English/French) preferred; required in Quebec

- Hours may vary due to operational need
