Senior 3D FX Artist

We’re looking for an experienced Senior 3D FX Artist to join the production of “Paw Patrol Specials” based on the world-wide hit “Paw Patrol”.      

Responsibilities:

• Primary role is to create and add FX such as dust, rain, fire, water interaction, etc. using Houdini
• Work with the asset team to generate creative solutions without defaulting to simulations
• Complete assigned tasks on schedule, ensuring deadlines are met
• Communicate risks and challenges to FX Lead
• Match Animation Styling with FX
  

Qualifications:

• 4+ years experience in animated television and/or film
• In depth knowledge of Houdini is required
• Unreal FX experience not required, but a big plus! 
• Rendering in redshift and nuke compositing skills are an asset
• Experience with USD, Solaris, and Redshift Shaders is a major asset
• A strong creative portfolio
