Job Description

What is the opportunity?

As the Marketing Coordinator for the RBC Wealth Management (WM) Global Marketing team, you’ll play an important role in managing the administrative and operational execution of a variety of marketing projects globally. In this role, you’ll support intake management and project coordination, Yext Social content management, CMS publishing/QA, reporting and image selection.

What will you do?

  • Manage the flow of marketing requests from WM partners globally, ensuring smooth workflows and timely deliveries. 
  • Take charge of our Yext Social library, selecting and organizing timely, engaging content for private bankers to share with clients.
  • Support community management across our WM corporate social media channels.
  • Help publish and quality-check content on our CMS platform, ensuring materials meet requirements and align with brand’s standards.
  • Assist in crafting team reports that highlight wins, trends and opportunities.
  • Support our marketing material inventory management, including tracking updates and communicating changes needed to business partners.
  • Support the team with image selection that bring marketing initiatives to life across campaigns, presentations, and digital channels.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Experience or education in marketing, communications or advertising.
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Office suite. 
  • Understanding of digital marketing and/or content marketing.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • A self-starter mindset with the ability to work in a hybrid face-to-face/virtual team environment.
  • Curious and excited about marketing with an eagerness to learn.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Nice-to-have

  • Experience working in the financial services industry.
  • Project management experience.
  • Experience with web publishing.
  • Knowledge of HTML.

In order to be eligible for these student positions, you must either: 

  • Be returning back to school after the work term end-date; or 
  • If you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating immediately after the work term), you must require the full work term as a mandatory component in order to graduate successfully
