Job Description
As Summer Student Marketing Coordinator with the RBC Wealth Management Canada marketing team, you’ll play a role in helping manage the administrative and operational execution of a wide variety of digital marketing projects. You will work closely with our creative, digital product and content teams to contribute, problem solve, manage workflow, and execute strategies.
The ideal candidate is detail oriented, proactive, client-centric and looking to join a fast-growing marketing team at RBC.
What will you do?
Assist with increasing advisor adoption of our digital tools, including creating documents and videos to help guide advisors
Work alongside our Social Media Manager in helping advisors create and refine their social media presence on LinkedIn, Facebook for Business, YouTube and Podbean, adhering to regulatory and compliance requirements
Support our Digital Product team with migrating to a new website platform, actioning requests from advisors including new website creations and minor website changes
Support with our creative and video-related requests for advisors, helping triage, project management and work with designers and copywriters to complete jobs
Assist with timely content creation and uploading within the social media middleware tool and website editor
Assist with keyword research and analysis as required for ongoing SEO enhancements for both advisor websites and public corporate websites
Work alongside our creative team on a range of initiatives including expanding our brand image gallery, creating a database of completed advertising jobs, and a competitive analysis
What do you need to succeed?
Must have
Education in Communications, Marketing/Business or a related field
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Skilled in project management; exemplary organizational skills with a keen eye for detail, excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects
Business-minded with a passion for digital marketing and make a concerted effort to stay abreast of developments in our industry
Natural problem solver and can think on your feet
Nice to have
Experience with design programs (Adobe, Figma, ect.)
Experience in wealth management or serving clients in wealth management
Fluent in French (reading, writing, conversation)

In order to be eligible for these student positions, you must either:
- Be returning back to school after the work term end-date; or
- If you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating immediately after the work term), you must require the full work term as a mandatory component in order to graduate successfully

Pay Range
The expected pay range for this position is:
$40,000.00 - $60,000.00The pay range provided is for the primary work location referenced in the Additional Job Details section of this job posting.
