Lead the Toronto SRE team and own day-to-day on-call, incident management, and career development. Plan and execute a US-to-EU GCP migration and a multi-phase data centre move to an OpenStack/Talos environment. Define workload placement, deployment patterns (GitOps/Concourse/Helm), and access models while raising reliability through SLOs, observability, and security controls (Vault, least-privilege, PCI requirements). Coordinate cross-region networking and decommission legacy infrastructure with zero-downtime objectives.

Plan and execute a zero-downtime migration of stateful data systems (Druid, Spark, Redpanda, Airflow, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch) from bare-metal VMs to Kubernetes on OpenStack. Codify infrastructure as code, implement safe StatefulSet/PVC and upgrade patterns, and own day-to-day operational health. Build observability, SLOs, runbooks, KPIs, and optimizations. Partner with SRE on hardware, networking, and Kubernetes fundamentals while owning data applications end-to-end.
