Owns product definition quality for complex data product opportunities, from problem framing through Ready-to-Build handoff. Authors product specifications, metric tables, and agent context documents; makes deployment channel decisions; maintains business context layers; and represents product definition in reviews with Platform Engineering and Data Science/ML. Establishes standards, coaches Solutions Analysts without formal authority, and ensures clean technical handoffs and well-defined model requirements.

Build self-service ML platform tooling and golden paths enabling Data Scientists to deploy and monitor models across batch and real-time. Design CI/CD, model registry, deployment workflows, observability standards, SDKs/CLIs, and partner with staff MLEs to shape platform architecture and developer experience.

Build and deploy end-to-end decision science systems (forecasting, experimentation, optimization, pricing, recommendations). Lead production-grade batch and real-time pipelines, partner with MLEs for deployment, drive domain impact, establish modeling standards, and mentor junior data scientists.

Design and build the organization's first ML platform: define architecture and roadmap, create self-service deployment frameworks, enable model registry, feature retrieval, inference routing, observability, and safe rollout workflows; mentor engineers and partner with Data Science to drive platform adoption and developer productivity.

Founding Staff Data Scientist to build decision science from the ground up: design and deliver forecasting, optimization, experimentation, personalization, and recommendation systems; establish modeling standards, validation and deployment playbooks; mentor data scientists and integrate reusable decision workflows with the ML platform.

Provide Tier 2 production support and reliability engineering for enterprise transactional platforms. Responsibilities include incident triage, server/database/cloud administration, automation (scripting, IaC), CI/CD and release support, observability, security hygiene, PostgreSQL/RDBMS operational tasks, root cause analysis, and 24x7 on-call and on-site support for deployments and DR activities.

Leads large-scale client implementation projects from initiation through deployment and post-go-live support. Manages scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, issues, vendors, dependencies, and stakeholder communications across multiple concurrent initiatives. Uses Agile and Waterfall methodologies, oversees financial performance, coordinates cross-functional teams, and ensures alignment with customer and business objectives. Requires bilingual French and English communication, software implementation experience, and travel to customer sites in Quebec up to 30%.
