Business Analyst supporting the OSC’s Regulatory Platforms Product Office. The role gathers and documents business needs, processes, requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria; collaborates with stakeholders, developers, vendors, and subject matter experts; supports application configuration, testing, deployment, training, and change management; and helps shape platform solutions through analysis, stakeholder engagement, wireframes, and Agile delivery.

Lead investor protection initiatives, securities policy and regulatory analysis for the Ontario Securities Commission. Advise senior leaders, committees and stakeholders on retail investor issues, assess funding proposals, monitor regulatory developments, support strategic decisions, and manage initiative deliverables. The role requires collaboration with regulators, investor groups and internal experts while addressing complex, innovative and contentious matters.

Conduct market research and analyze investment fund and structured product data to support regulatory processes, risk analysis, policy initiatives, and operational oversight. Maintain datasets, models, dashboards, and performance reports; assess data quality and market trends; identify emerging risks; and present findings to management, policy leads, and committees. Collaborate with enterprise data teams to obtain and manage data access.
