Develop end-to-end enterprise security and productivity features in C++ within the Chromium codebase. Research solutions for real-world customer challenges, design and build low-level, large-scale real-time systems across Windows, macOS, and Linux, and collaborate with product, web, security, and field engineering teams.

Build large-scale, distributed cloud systems in Go, with emphasis on low-level systems, network programming, and multi-platform software across Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android. Apply expertise in network protocols and topologies. Experience with proxies, VPNs, ZTNA, WireGuard, and next-generation firewalls is advantageous.

Build and advance Island’s enterprise software platform, integrating AI enablement, network access, data protection, identity, endpoint control, browser technology, and security capabilities. The role contributes to scalable products used by major global enterprises and requires expert-level engineering, rapid learning, teamwork, and strong interpersonal skills.

Own complex enterprise technical escalations from triage through root-cause analysis and resolution across browser, network, cloud, and endpoint layers. Analyze traces, logs, network captures, and diagnostics; document findings for engineering; communicate clearly with customers; support incident response and post-incident analysis; and drive systemic improvements through knowledge bases, runbooks, and product prioritization.

Plan and execute manual testing for product releases, collaborate with developers on feature test plans, advise on automation testing infrastructure, and create end-to-end and component-level automation test plans. The role also involves understanding enterprise customer environments to tailor testing scenarios and maintaining deep product knowledge.
