Extend Canvas, the MCP server, and Canvas Skills while applying product judgment to define future agent capabilities.

Design and build backend systems and APIs in Go, while contributing to React and TypeScript full-stack features. Lead complex technical projects, provide technical mentorship, collaborate cross-functionally, shape technical roadmaps, and support software in production through on-call rotations. The role focuses on building foundational OpenTelemetry-based observability infrastructure for AI workloads, including telemetry, token usage, cost, and evaluation signals.

Design and implement high-quality storage and query infrastructure for billions of events. Independently scope and deliver complex projects, improve performance and reliability, support production systems through on-call rotations, and reduce operational toil. Collaborate with Product Management and engineering teams, mentor peers, debug critical issues, define KPIs and SLOs, and drive foundational technical improvements across the organization.
