Manage multidisciplinary engineering projects from initiation through close-out across mining, utilities, and heavy industrial sectors. Responsibilities include managing scope, schedules, budgets, contracts, client relationships, design, procurement, construction support, risks, quality, HSE, reporting, and project teams. The role also supports proposals, cost estimates, forecasting, change management, and client communication while contributing to business growth and mentoring project staff.

Oversees field installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical, instrumentation, and control systems on an active construction project. Reviews electrical drawings, resolves field design conflicts, prepares RFIs and change requests, coordinates contractors and specialists, verifies QA/QC and code compliance, supports turnover documentation, and provides technical guidance. The role also contributes to risk assessments, project planning, reporting, and startup activities while ensuring compliance with mining and electrical safety standards.

Contract Mechanical Engineer to execute mechanical deliverables for mining and heavy industrial projects: calculations, equipment selection and sizing, drawings review and sealing, specifications, multidisciplinary coordination, troubleshooting, cost estimating support, and client presentations. Must support site visits as required.

Provide mechanical design and drafting support for mining and heavy industrial projects. Develop 3D models, prepare drawings for equipment, piping, and structural steel, perform design analysis, produce material take-offs and equipment lists, review project documents, and collaborate with vendors and stakeholders on specifications and tendering.
