Cyient Inc. is seeking experienced Pole Line Engineers with a Professional Engineer License to join their team in Toronto, ON, Canada. The ideal candidates will have expertise in distribution pole line design, FTTX, FTTC, and long-haul/interoffice fiber MDU designs. Responsibilities include performing pole loading calculations, creating permit drawings using AutoCAD, and developing pole line designs for various projects. Must have knowledge of Fiber backbone networks, 5G/Smart City high-level designs, and permitting processes.

The Pole Line QC Specialist at Cyient is responsible for overseeing Aerial and Pole Line work, including designing OSP telecom projects, conducting aerial assessments, and managing workloads. Successful candidates will have experience in engineering inspections, design programs like Quick Pole and SpidaCalc, and a solid understanding of fiber optic cable design.

The Pole Line Engineer conducts analysis and tests of various components of quality control programs. This includes data analysis, systems evaluation, and product assessment to ensure conformity to specifications. The role may assist in hardware inspections and document quality issues for management review.

The Pole Line Engineer will perform pole loading calculations and create permit drawings using AutoCAD, Spidacalc, and Quickpole. They will conduct research and interpret field data to support FTTH projects and ensure compliance with design guidelines and permitting processes in the telecommunications industry.
