The Director, Legal Services provides strategic legal advice across real estate, leasing, development, construction, corporate, and commercial projects. Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating complex transactions, advising on risk and regulatory matters, conducting due diligence, supporting project delivery, and supervising external counsel in litigation and disputes. The role also leads cross-functional legal support for public and private-sector partnerships, financing, procurement, construction, and property operations.

Provides real estate development analysis for project identification, valuation, asset disposition, strategic planning, and City building initiatives. Supports business case development, research, presentations, staff reports, client-needs intake, project milestone tracking, stakeholder engagement, process improvements, and coordination of meetings and requests across internal and external partners.
